FOLC LP 12'' THE SPLIT SQUAD - ANOTHER CINDIRELLA

The Split Squad formed a decade ago and can be considered a supergroup, as it consists of Keith Streng (vocals, guitar) from The Fleshtones, Eddie Muñoz (guitar) lead guitarist of The Plimsouls, Clem Burke (drums) from Blondie, Michael Giblin (bass, vocals, keyboards) from Cherry Twister and Josh Kantor (organ) organist of Boston Red Sox.
Her new album “Another Cinderella” is her first since her 2013 debut “Now Hear This…”, and, as with that one, it also features a star-studded cast of guests including Jason Victor (The Dream Syndicate), Scott McCaughey (The Young Fresh Fellows /Minus 5/REM/The Baseball Project/…), Brian Hurd (Daddy Long Legs), David Minehan (The Neighborhoods/Aerosmith/The Replacements), Joe Adragna (The Junior League), and violinist Deni Bonet.
The key word is FUN and the different genres for which the musicians are known allow for an excellent variety of songs, all played with smiles on their faces.
