PLADÜR - TONS OF FUN (LP)

Pladür is a fresh, frenetic and fun punk band that was born in January 2022 in Pontevedra.
Faced with an urgent creative need that couldn't be contained in other projects, Lúa Sálamo (Le Cûl, Los Televisores, Trompas de Farlopio) and Santiago Paredes (Pedrito Diablo, Thee Tumbitas, Glitter & Litter, and Thee Blind Crows) laid the foundations for this raw and immediate punk rock power duo. A reminder of how to make songs from the ground up. Pladür is the band you could have started with your cousin, but you didn't, and they did.
In a very short time they have produced a good handful of catchy songs full of energy and melody, and have taken to the stage to tour much of
Galicia and make some incursions into the Spanish plateau and even the UK, with great public and critical acclaim.
Their sound is rebellious and full of vocals spitting over powerful riffs, everyday and fun themes that don't lack humor or social commentary, all perfectly complemented by a potent rhythm section. An irresistible cocktail reminiscent of bands like the Ramones, The Addicts, Adolescents, Siniestro Total, and even Los Nikis.
In 2022 they released their first EP, “Rehearsals, failures and fainting spells” recorded at Terraforma studios by Ibán Pérez, producer of bands such as Indómitos or Fantasmage, which includes the band's first four studio tracks, followed by the single “Student of Fine Arts”, (2023).
In 2024, they finally recorded their first LP, "Toneladas de Diversión" (Tons of Fun), at Escusalla Sónora studio with Javier Vicalo at the helm. It features 11 tracks of iconoclastic punk rock, packed with generational anthems like "Nueva Ola" (New Wave), "Baja por Diversión" (Go Down for Fun), and "En la tienda del Ortopeda" (At the Orthopedist's Shop).
