Mom is a band from Malmö, Sweden, formed in October 2019 as a trio by Donny Merkins (guitar, vocals and main songwriter of the band), Frank Uptight (guitar and vocals) and Luke Wharm (bass). They soon attracted attention for their carefully crafted vocal harmonies and powerful guitars rooted in 70s/early 80s power pop with bubblegum touches, releasing their first album on self-published CD, the wonderful "Pleasure Island", which was reissued on vinyl by the German label Wanda Records in 2021 (and of which Snap!! distributed copies in Spain).
Now, with the addition of Spike! on drums, they're back with a 7" EP, "Fun'n'Games," featuring four tracks that replicate their successful formula. Released by Snap!! Records in a limited edition of only 300 copies, it will be available starting October 14th. You can pre-order your copy now at snapville@gmail.com and enjoy one of today's best bands.
