MODIFICATION - MODIFICATION (LP)

This LP brings together for the first time all the songs from the three singles released by the cult Valencian band Modificación in the early 1970s, as well as the rest of the previously unreleased recordings from the same sessions, created under the influence of bands like Grand Funk Railroad, Iron Butterfly, Vanilla Fudge, Rare Earth, and Led Zeppelin. It includes the legendary freakbeat track “Across the Time,” which has rightfully earned its place over the years as one of the most admired and sought-after Spanish singles of that period. It is a consummate portrait of one of the most legendary Spanish underground bands of those years, whose fans, unable to find the elusive—and now exorbitantly priced—records, were clamoring for an urgent reissue of their work. Fabuel's previously unseen images have been included to complete the release. The cover artwork is based on iconic graphic elements taken from ephemeral promotional prints used by Modificación during those years.
