The Ska locomotive is back with a new single!

In their four years together, Mighty Megatons have been relentless in their rise to become one of the most active bands on the current scene. After releasing their debut single, 'Atomic Bomb', with Liquidator Music, they have performed live with artists such as Roy Ellis, Alpheus, Keith & Tex, and Natty Bo, and recorded with George Dekker, Carrol Thompson, Roy & Yvonne, among others.

After experimenting with reggae and rocksteady rhythms, they return to their signature sound of pure ska. On side A you'll find 'Genghis Khan', a track that continues the Jamaican tradition of themed instrumentals featuring historical or fictional characters such as Cleopatra, Django Unchained, Ringo Starr, Al Capone, Muhammad Ali, Confucius, Chiang Kai-shek, and others.

On the other side of the record, 'Never Too Old' awaits. With Jamaica's independence, Ska solidified as a new rhythm independent of its influences. Sixty years later, this song revives that early sound of the style on the B-side of this incredible 45. A bit of trivia for connoisseurs: this was the first song Mighty Megatons ever composed.

Both songs were recorded the old-fashioned way: dodo recorded live at the Golden Hen studios in the Carabanchel neighborhood (Madrid) with Tuco Salamanca at the controls and Rudy King in charge of musical production.
