MANGO WOOD - NEVER EVER / COME DOWN (7")

The Madrid-based band specializing in 'Boss Reggae' returns with Liquidator Music and releases a new single in 7” format, consisting of two new studio songs.
In this new album, Mango Wood touches on the edges of the years 68-72 with two tracks located at both ends.
On one hand they present 'Never Ever', a late Rock Steady, where later sounds begin to be heard, such as the organ that marks the transition from Rock Steady to Reggae.
And on the other side we have 'Come Down', a Reggae already far removed from the Early Reggae that begins to darken, as in the end of 1972, with more complex rhythmic patterns that announced the end of a key era in Jamaican history and in which Mango Wood demonstrates an enviable ease.
We already knew these two new songs from their concerts and now we have them available on this limited edition vinyl single of 500 copies worldwide.
