LOS CAPITANES - ¡GOLPE DE OMO! (LP)

Steaks, pork belly and liters of beer, seasoned with contraband rum, reverb and lots and lots of fuzz… Put all that in a blender, mix it well and you'll get Los Capitanes.
Formed in 2018 in Madrid by Albert Ginés (guitar), Al Bigotes (drums), Babi (bass), and Rafa (vocals and guitar), all former members of other bands (Panches Surfers, Tikis del Ritmo, and The Dark Colours Since 1685, among others), Los Capitanes offer fast-paced rock and roll with a strong garage rock influence and lyrics about different cuts of meat, parties and alcohol, unrequited love, and down-on-their-luck sailors.
At the beginning of 2020 they decided to invite Amalia (former member of the now defunct group Juanita Banana, who also plays in the side project of Albert Ginés y sus Oceánicos) to join the band, going from a quartet to a quintet; strengthening and giving more consistency to the Capitán sound.
Los Capitanes are here to present their proposal, full of Garage, Punk, Rock n Roll, Surf… A mix of styles designed to blow your mind to the rhythm of Golpes de Remo.
Los Capitanes may sound like many things, but few things sound like Los Capitanes!
