Released in 1969 by the legendary Laurel Aitken, often known as "The Godfather of Ska," the album *Fire* was a collection of his most popular singles from the preceding months, along with previously unreleased material. As expected, the LP became an immediate bestseller, its success only hampered by the sudden and unexpected collapse of his record label shortly afterward. Fortunately, now, 40 years after its release, Laurel Aitken says *Fire* is available once again.
