Following the success of Laurel Aitken's first single with Mighty Megatons, where the Madrid band completes old unfinished masters of the legendary High Priest of Reggae, Liquidator Music releases a second installment in 7" format.
Side A features 'Suddenly We Don't Talk Anymore', an elegant and emotive Rocksteady track in the vein of songs like "Sugar, Sugar" or "It's Too Late" that will delight classic Godfather fans.
On the B-side, we find 'Judgement Pon Di Land', a militant Roots Rock Reggae song that will surprise everyone. Throughout his career, Laurel has had songs that touched on more conscious, Rastafarian, or Pan-Africanist themes, but this single probably features the most militant track of his career.
Mighty Megatons once again demonstrate their mastery and, in this case, also their versatility within the different styles of Jamaican roots.
