LAUREL AITKEN & MIGHTY MEGATONS - SHOESHINE BOY / WOMAN A GO MAD ME (7")
Laurel Aitken, the Godfather of Ska, was a prolific artist who, when not touring, would often lock himself in the studio to produce new material. From all those sessions, a mountain of unfinished tapes remained, filled with new material that never saw the light of day.
Liquidator rescues these tapes and takes them to the recording studio to finish all those unfinished projects with the help of Mighty Megatons, who support him and provide the backing track for some of the most brilliant moments of Laurel's career.
The first release will be a single composed of the songs 'Shoeshine Boy' and 'Woman A Go Mad Me', the first of a series of releases that Liquidator is preparing for the coming months, unreleased material that will remind us of the talent of this great artist and excite us again with his compositions, impeccably accompanied by the brilliant Mighty Megatons.
