JOE JENNINGS MVP'S - NOTHING WRONG WITH GIVING UP (LP)

Recently relocated to Tucson, Arizona, Los Angeles musician Joe Jennings (JJ & The Real Jerks/The Magnificent) teamed up with Matt Rendon (The Resonars/The Freezing Hands/The Lemon Drop Gang) to write and record 11 new tracks at Rendon's studio on Midtown Island. The result is a blast of pure power-pop infused with the fury of garage rock 'n' roll. The latest single, "Doing Time on the Company Dime," is like a punk version of the Standells with a chorus reminiscent of the Dictators. The full album, "Nothing Wrong with Giving Up," pays homage to four decades of rock 'n' roll decadence and will be released on September 6th digitally and on limited-edition CD from Rumble Bar, and on vinyl from Sweet Grooves Records and Take The City Records.
