Following the success of the first volume of this compilation album dedicated to Jamaican sounds "made in Catalonia", it is now the turn of the second volume, which sets the bar even higher, if possible, than its predecessor released in 2020.

Compiled by Tole Torelli and wrapped in a luxurious design by Pau Llop, the second volume of Jamaicat presents 21 new songs from emerging and established groups, which are a good example of the quality and know-how of today's bands.

The album features Ska, Rocksteady, Early Reggae, a touch of Soul, and Dub. Unreleased tracks are interspersed with more unusual or previously unreleased ones.

21 young Catalan bands, including some familiar names like Soweto, The Kinky Coo Coo's, and The Oldians, along with newer acts such as Sybarites, Don Cosmic, Jamaican Jazz Lovers, and The Goliards Collective. In total, an hour and fifteen minutes that leaves you wanting more, because it's not just a showcase of the current Catalan music scene, but an excellent compilation of the highest quality.
