Falsonueve was born from the ashes of Balloon Flights and incorporates the drummer from Cutting Fingers. It's a headlong rush forward where Juan, Saul, and Pablo try to tame the noise within them, only to unleash it without restraint. Their influences speak for themselves: Hüsker Dü, Nueva Vulcano, Biznaga, Guided by Voices, Dinosaur Jr., Los Planetas Cuello… They recorded their debut album at Ultramarinos Studios in Sant Feliu de Guíxols with Santi Garcia, who has worked with bands like Nueva Vulcano and Cala Vento. Twelve songs brimming with pop melodies and furious guitars will be released in May 2023, in a joint edition with the labels CGTH, Hold Your Ground, and Sweet Grooves Records.
FALSONUEVE are: Pablo Beltrán (vocals, guitar), Juan Mañas (bass, backing vocals) and Saúl Herrero (drums)
Recorded, produced and mastered by the infallible tandem Santi García & Víctor García at Ultramarinos Costa Brava.
