With the length of this pandemic, it's clear there's a real appetite for some wild mockery, and the first three editions of "This Isn't Right" have sold out in a flash. I imagine that's not the case for you, but if you've stumbled across this by chance and you're one of those who are devoted to being scandalized, and whose natural reaction to humor devoid of compassion is outrage, just leave it, forget it, move along, don't gather around, don't get tangled up in legal issues—we don't have the resources to drag us into lawsuits over a damn book. Besides, it's a fantastic book by the coolest comic artist in the region. "This Isn't Right" contains commissioned work for the magazine El Jueves, her comic strip series "You've Gone Too Far," unpublished material, and personal work—a sort of croquette-like stew of Irene Márquez's comic career.

Is it permissible to revel in the misfortunes of others? To wallow in the neighbor's misfortunes? Well, I haven't a clue, but come on, here they don't laugh at the neighbor or anyone's calamities, it's all speculation, it's all made up, woman! Cut short destinies, social misdeeds, vulgar people, imaginary imperfections, fictitious disabilities, blood, lymph, bile, and black humor. Don't expect optimistic outcomes, at most, incongruous results.
