THE WEIRDOS - DESTROY ALL MUSIC (LP)

Formed by singer John Denney and his brother, guitarist Dix (sons of actress Nora Denney), along with bassist Cliff Roman and drummer Beat Alexander, the pioneering Los Angeles art-rock band, the Weirdos, were ahead of the punk scene, drawing inspiration from the Ramones, Iggy Pop, and the New York Dolls. Their debut EP, "Destroy All Music," kicked off their fruitful relationship with BOMP! Records, and to celebrate BOMP!'s 50th anniversary, this Destroy All Music compilation brings together the original EP with earlier demos and the Who? What? Where? When? Why? LP. It's the band's finest work in one beautiful package—absolutely essential!
