THE SHITKICKER REBELLION - WHITE LIGHT WHITE HEAT B/W 99TH FLOOR (7")

2022 proved to be a particularly fruitful year for Greg's artistic pursuits. His superb autobiography, On The Street I Met a Dog (Misty Lane Books), was published just two weeks before the release of his album, Vintage Violence (Mean Disposition Records). To celebrate this coincidence properly, a launch event was organized at the legendary House of Guitars in Rochester, where Greg worked for—quite literally—half his life.

A book and record signing was scheduled, complete with free pizza and a small, unannounced live performance. Greg was joined by his 'brothers', longtime comrades and former Chesterfield Kings members Rick Cona (bass), Paul Morabito (guitar), and Zachary Koch (drums), and Ryan Moore (guitar, organ) of Low Spirits.

They played five songs on the shop floor, surrounded by dozens of boxes of records and a huge crowd. The band performed under the name The Shitkicker Rebellion. As expected, it was a resounding success, leaving both the artists and the audience wanting more.

A couple of weeks later, they headed to Saxon Recordings studio to record two of the songs from their short concert, with the idea of ​​releasing a single. This one.
