The Royal We, a new American roots music band formed by three experienced artists from the Spanish music scene (Cesar Crespo, Greg Izor, and Javi Suarez), has released a new song called "Weird Things." The song explores the strangest and most unusual situations that can occur in our daily lives, using a curious anecdote experienced by one of the band members during a trip to Fuerteventura as a starting point. Originally written by Cesar Crespo, "Weird Things" blends country and rock and roll influences with Del Reeves-style guitars. On the recording, Cesar Crespo plays electric guitar, bass, and sings lead vocals; Javi Suarez plays acoustic guitar and sings backing vocals; Greg Izor plays harmonica; and Pascu Monge plays drums.
