Amsterdam-based band THE COVIDS was born out of boredom during the first lockdown and, after numerous cancellations, were finally able to play their first live show in the fall of 2021. Since then, the band has played non-stop on the Dutch club circuit and has already made its mark playing at festivals and shows across Europe.
After releasing their first single in 2022, they're ready to drop their debut album, "BUST TO BITS," featuring 11 energetic, raw, and melodic tracks that are incredibly catchy. The title track perfectly exemplifies the band's lyrical essence: trying to have fun in a time that can sometimes feel apocalyptic. Musically, THE COVIDS draw inspiration from bands like BUZZCOCKS, THE DAMNED, and THE WIPERS.
