SHOTS IN THE DARK - CHICKEN BLUES LP 12"
Shots In The Dark, the veteran Rome-based band playing Ska, Rocksteady, Early Reggae, Soul, and R&B, has released their new album on the Madrid-based label Liquidator Music. Titled 'Chicken Blues,' the album features nine studio-recorded tracks with a wide range of influences. Mixing and mastering were handled by Alfredo Concilio of the prestigious Aloe Vera Records label and studio.
The group formed in 1999 and, in addition to their own musical career, have served as a backing band for artists such as Roy Ellis, Dr. Ring Ding, and Gaz Mayall. They have also shared the stage with numerous other greats, including Laurel Aitken, Derrick Morgan, and Johnny Clarke. Their concerts number in the hundreds, and their discography comprises two albums prior to this new release, a handful of singles, and a couple of music videos.
'Chicken Blues' is being released on LP and as a digital download. The LP includes a color insert with photos and lyrics, as well as a digital download card for the entire album plus two bonus tracks.
