Discos Quilombo's fourth release. A novel offering, a double A-side in 7" single format
Both sides of the record revolve around the song "Hechicera," written by Rudy Heyn in 1971. It was in 1972 that Los Signos, a group from our beloved country of Bolivia, released it on their third EP on the Lyra label. We chose this version for one side because we love it and because, after much effort, we managed to contact Efraín Salazar, the leader of Los Signos, who gave us his blessing. The other A-side contains a powerful and wild version, full of psychedelia and Latin garage, as we are used to hearing on their albums and in their electrifying live performances. We can consider this group one of the leading lights of the Western world in the current cumbia and Latin garage scene. We are referring to Los Malinches, from Murcia, Spain.
