JÍBAROS - STONE AGE 7"

Jíbaros formed in Madrid in 2015, delving into the raw sounds of punk and the dirtiest, most urgent pop. A few months after a fiery debut at Purple Weekend, they released the LP “Jíbaros Jíbaros Jíbaros” (SG 2016). This first work secured them a place among the best Spanish albums of the year. Tirelessly working between gigs, they crafted their next chaotic rock 'n' roll creation, “Parranda!” (SG 2017), a single that served as a preview of “Dislexia” (SG 2018), their latest full-length album with which they aim to destroy civilization. After sharing the stage with Los Pepes, they released the split album “Picture my face/Together” (Snap 2019) to keep the fire simmering. Even during lockdown, they didn't lose momentum and continued their creative onslaught. In the midst of curfew, all they can do is play, play, and play, while they head into El Purgatorio studios in Madrid to record their new sonic mischief. And so, in 2022, Jíbaros return as part of the Family Spree roster. With a new vinyl record under their arm and all their signature ingredients mixed with Garbo presents their new EP: "Jíbaros-Edad de piedra" (FS 2022), a diabolical Molotov cocktail that will delight all throats eager for a good dose of rock and roll. Alberto, Gabi, and David are joined by María Jiménez (Furies) on bass and vocals, a dazzling addition that also makes them look more handsome, young, and vibrant.
