The incendiary guitarist Indy Tumbita presents his new work with the Voodoo Bandits "A dança Ritual da Salamandra" (Family Spree, El Beasto, Velvet Cave Records).
An album composed entirely during the 2020 lockdown, now finally released. Perhaps the dark hours of that ominous period influenced the album's final result. While the previous work emphasized cumbia and surf music, resulting in a bright and cheerful sound, this new album incorporates a wider range of influences, some of which have both darkened and refined its overall quality.
Black Sabbath, Los Destellos, psychedelia and the bad life in general come together in a wild and intense album that will delight lovers of sharp guitars and unconstrained instrumentals.
