El Pulso del Acero: Shinkansen es el nuevo álbum de Esplendor Geométrico y el primero desde su nuevo cuartel general en Tokio. Ofrece 16 poderosos y contundentes temas que muestran la energía eléctrica-industrial de un grupo que ha desarrollado un estilo único y arrebatador.
La fuerza de los rítmos maquinales y mecánicos de sus primeros trabajos también está presente aquí en brillantes reconstrucciones de algunos de sus temas de los ochenta (Rotorama, Trybuna V,…) ahora muy diferentes o incluso irreconocibles, así como otros temas de música industrial futurista e innovadora más cercanos a su anterior álbum, Strepitus Rhythmicus. Diez temas fueron grabados en 2025 en Tokio, donde reside actualmente Arturo Lanz (miembro fundador de E.G.), y los otros seis fueron publicados solo en CD en una edición ultra-limitada (agotada desde hace tiempo) compartida con el grupo De Fabriek en 2023, ahora finalmente disponibles por primera vez en vinilo.
