CHINAS COMIDAS es una banda de punk fundada en Seattle, formando parte de la escena urbana más temprana. Algunos de sus primeros miembros también tocaron en bandas como RED DRESS y TUPPERWARES. En sus inicios, se les consideraba post punk debido a sus letras poéticas, con un fuerte componente feminista, y también por su arte con portadas y flyers... Sin embargo, y especialmente en su segundo EP, la música tenía más en común con bandas como X, AVENGERS, THE NUNS y THE BAGS.
